Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC), observed First Baptist School's volleyball team top Palmetto Scholars Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Hurricanes (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Oceanside Collegiate Academy achieved victory over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Phoenix now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowcountry Leadership for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23.
