Illinois High School Volleyball - Grant Community edged by Lake Zurich

August 25, 2025: Lake Zurich, IL 60047

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), observed Lake Zurich's volleyball team hold off Grant Community by a tally of 2-1.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Grayslake North edged Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukegan for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Grant Community will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
