The Webberville Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Owosso Trojans to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Everett for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27.
With the loss, Owosso drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Brandon (Ortonville, MI) to play the Blackhawks in a Flint Metro outing on Thursday, September 4. The Blackhawks come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Brandon lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI)
