In Monday's non-league bout, the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN) volleyball team held off the host White Station Spartans (Memphis, TN), by a margin of 3-2.
The Eagles now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Northpoint Christian for a D-II A District 6 bout on Tuesday, August 26. St. Benedict at Auburndale will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Germantown (Germantown, TN). The Red Devils enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Germantown held off Cordova (Cordova, TN), 3-0, in a league match.
