The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) and the visiting Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX), saw Blue Ridge's volleyball squad beat Brownsboro by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Tigers host Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Scurry-Rosser won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mabank (Mabank, TX)

The Bears now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bullard for a non-league bout on Friday, August 27. Brownsboro will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Van (Van, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
