The A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) football defeated the visiting Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), 38-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. A&M Consolidated will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bryan (Bryan, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Bryan defeated Waller (Waller, TX), 67-21, in a non-league bout.
