The Headland Rams football squad scored 60 points and limited the host Abbeville Yellowjackets to 12 in the Rams non-league win on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Eufaula for a 5A Region 2 battle on Friday, September 2. Headland will play a Tigers squad coming off a 22-14 non-league win over Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL) in a 2A Region 2 battle, on Friday, September 2. Abbeville will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 28-26 non-league loss to Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL).
