Pennsylvania High School Football - Abington succumbs to Cheltenham

The Cheltenham Panthers thwarted the visiting Abington Galloping Ghosts football team by a count of 26-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cheltenham upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Northeast (Philadelphia, PA) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

With the loss, Abington moves to 0-1 on the season. The Galloping ghosts travel to Council Rock North (Newtown, PA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Council Rock North won 21-7 in their recent non-league outing against Wissahickon (Ambler, PA)
