Texas High School Football - Aquilla victorious over Covington

In Friday's non-league match, the host Aquilla Cougars football squad scored a good 40-28 victory over the Covington Owls.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Milford Bulldogs (Milford, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Aquilla will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 63-42 non-league loss to Keene (Keene, TX).

The Owls (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Iredell (Iredell, TX). The Dragons enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Iredell thwarted Gustine (Gustine, TX), 55-8, in a non-league match.
