The Brazoswood Buccaneers held off the visiting Beaumont United Timberwolves football team by a count of 35-32 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Brazoswood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Sterling (Baytown, TX) to encounter the Rangers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Rangers go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Sterling won 27-0 in their recent non-league outing against Northbrook (Houston, TX)

With the loss, Beaumont United moves to 0-1 on the season. The Timberwolves host Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Port Neches-Groves lost 50-15 in their recent non-league outing against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX)
