The Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN) football edged the host Henry County Patriots (Paris, TN), 26-21 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Hendersonville Commandos (Hendersonville, TN) in a 6A Region 5 bout, on Friday, September 2. Beech will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Commandos enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 28-22 non-league win over South Warren (Bowling Green, KY).
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central was nudged by Humboldt (Humboldt, TN), 32-0, in a non-league bout.
