The Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) football routed the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 41-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Prairiland will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).
