In Friday's non-league game, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) football team smashed the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), by a score of 49-14.
The Sauras (1-1) will now prepare for their game against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, McMichael overwhelmed Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC), 40-38, in a non-league game.
