Alabama High School Football - Pickens County smashes Brilliant

August 26, 2022: Reform, AL 35481

The Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) football routed the visiting Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), 52-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Sumiton Christian Eagles (Sumiton, AL) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Friday, September 2. Pickens County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 14-8 league win over Hubbertville (Fayette, AL).

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Marion County (Guin, AL). The Red Raiders enter the 1A Region 5 bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Marion County was overwhelmed by Lynn (Lynn, AL), 31-14, in a league bout.
