The Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles football squad scored 58 points and restricted the visiting High Plains Storm to 18 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Superior for a non-league battle on Friday, September 2. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-14 non-league loss to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
