Colorado High School Football - Calhan smashes Las Animas

August 26, 2022: Calhan, CO 80808

The Calhan Bulldogs (Calhan, CO) football routed the visiting Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO), 50-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the West Grand Mustangs (Kremmling, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Calhan will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 52-0 non-league win over Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO).

The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lyons (Lyons, CO). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Lyons walloped John Mall (Walsenburg, CO), 42-0, in a non-league bout.

Congratulations to #1 Orion Martinez (overall, defensive and special teams) and #6 Rome Martinez (offensive) for being selected the Las Animas Football Players of the Game.
