Pennsylvania High School Football - Carlisle knocks off Mechanicsburg

The Carlisle Thundering Herd football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats to 14 in the Thundering Herd non-league win on Friday.

The Thundering Herd now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Governor Mifflin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 2. Carlisle will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 21-10 non-league loss to Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Cedar Cliff Colts (Camp Hill, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Mechanicsburg will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Colts go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 28-10 non-league loss to Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA).
