The Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) football routed the host Miami East Vikings (Casstown, OH), 61-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Carlisle will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Polar Bears enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 33-14 non-league win over Oakwood (Dayton, OH).

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Northwestern (Springfield, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Northwestern was crushed by Greenon (Springfield, OH), 28-6, in a non-league bout.
