Alabama High School Football - Cherokee County sneaks past Piedmont

The Cherokee County Warriors football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs to 14 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Good Hope for a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 2. Cherokee County will face a Raiders squad coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs face the Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL) in a 3A Region 6 battle, on Friday, September 2. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 19-6 non-league win over Saks (Anniston, AL).
