The Webster Bearcats football team (Webster, SD), was beaten 28-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD)

The Cyclones (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD). The Seahawks go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan prevailed over Flandreau (Flandreau, SD), 30-6, in a league test.

With the loss, Webster moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bearcats host Winner (Winner, SD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0. Winner won 52-12 in their recent league test against Wagner (Wagner, SD)
