California High School Football - Colfax tips Woodland

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) and the host Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), observed Colfax's football squad edge Woodland by a count of 17-13.

The Falcons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Galt for a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. Colfax will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 45-8 non-league win over Highlands (North Highlands, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Wolves encounter the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 2. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 48-27 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA).
