The Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) football defeated the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 42-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Redhounds face the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Corbin will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Flyers enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 69-0 non-league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY).
The Colonels (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Harlan County was knocked off by Hazard (Hazard, KY), 40-20, in a non-league game.
