The Crandon Cardinals football squad scored 30 points and restricted the host Merrill Bluejays to 12 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clintonville for a Northwoods battle on Thursday, September 1. Crandon will face a Truckers squad coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Brillion (Brillion, WI). The Truckers record now stands at 2-0.
