The East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) football defeated the visiting South Park Eagles (South Park, PA), 19-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wild Cats face the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. East Allegheny will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Jayhawks enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 31-10 non-league loss to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Keystone Oaks defeated Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA), 19-7, in a non-league bout.
