California High School Football - Woodlake nipped by Exeter

The Exeter Monarchs held off the visiting Woodlake Tigers football team by a count of 7-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Exeter upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Monarchs host Lindsay (Lindsay, CA) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Lindsay won 33-7 in their recent non-league outing against California City (California City, CA)

With the loss, Woodlake moves to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to encounter the Golden Bears in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 3. The Golden Bears go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Sierra Pacific won 32-13 in their recent non-league outing against Hoover (Fresno, CA)
