North Carolina High School Football - Halifax Academy held off by Faith Christian

August 26, 2022: Rocky Mount, NC 27803

In Friday's non-league game, the Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC) football team tipped the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), by a final score of 12-6.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Father Capodanno (Vass, NC). The Grunts come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Father Capodanno was tipped by Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School (Merry Hill, NC), 60-6, in a non-league game.

The Vikings now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Halifax Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-14 non-league win over Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
