The Russell Rustlers held off the visiting Hellgate Knights football team by a final score of 42-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Russell improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rustlers travel to Glacier (Kalispell, MT) to confront the Wolfpack in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Wolfpack go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Glacier won 63-0 in their recent non-league outing against Belgrade (Belgrade, MT)

With the loss, Hellgate moves to 0-1 on the season. The Knights host Belgrade (Belgrade, MT) to confront the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Belgrade lost 63-0 in their recent non-league outing against Glacier (Kalispell, MT)
