Georgia High School Football - Hephzibah succumbs to Laney

August 26, 2022: Hephzibah, GA 30815

The Laney Wildcats thwarted the host Hephzibah Rebels football team by a count of 26-17 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 1-0.

With the loss, Hephzibah moves to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels host Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Augusta Christian won 26-18 in their recent non-league outing against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA)
