West Virginia High School Football - Scott knocks off Hoover

The Scott Skyhawks football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Hoover Huskies to 19 in the Skyhawks league win on Friday.

The Skyhawks now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a Cardinal battle on Friday, September 2. Scott will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 50-14 non-league win over Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a Cardinal battle, on Friday, September 2. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Generals go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 48-21 non-league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV).
