North Carolina High School Football - Northwood smashes Jordan-Matthews

The Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) football routed the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 52-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Northwood will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 35-7 non-league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC).

The Jets (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Providence Grove walloped Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 42-0, in a non-league bout.
