Mississippi High School Football - Kosciusko victorious over Yazoo County

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Kosciusko Whippets football squad scored a good 35-14 victory over the Yazoo County Panthers.

In their next game, the Whippets clash with the Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Kosciusko will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 40-29 non-league win over Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS).

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Velma Jackson (Camden, MS). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Velma Jackson dropped by Canton (Canton, MS), 14-12, in a non-league match.
