Texas High School Football - Lamesa drops to Lake View

In Friday's non-league game, the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), by a score of 44-28.

The Chiefs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Sweetwater was dropped by Idalou (Idalou, TX), 38-20, in a non-league game.

The Tornadoes now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Muleshoe for a non-league game on Friday, September 2. Lamesa will battle a Mules team coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Mules record now stands at 0-1.
