The Palmerton Blue Bombers topped the visiting Lehighton Indians football team by a final score of 42-29 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Palmerton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blue Bombers host Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA) to confront the Rough Riders in a Colonial-Schuylkill outing on Friday, September 2. The Rough Riders go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Catasauqua lost 32-12 in their recent league outing against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)

With the loss, Lehighton moves to 0-1 on the season. The Indians host Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to confront the Blue Raiders in a Colonial-Schuylkill outing on Friday, September 2. The Blue Raiders go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Tamaqua lost 49-22 in their recent league outing against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA)
