In Friday's non-league game, the Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL) football team knocked off the visiting Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL), by a final score of 35-7.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region 7 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Madison Academy was dropped by Randolph School (Huntsville, AL), 46-33, in a non-league game.
