Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), 36-6 in a league test.

With the win, Macomb improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bombers travel to Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL) to confront the Rebels in a Prairieland test on Friday, September 2. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 1-0. Astoria/VIT won 38-6 in their recent league test against Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL)

With the loss, Rushville-Industry moves to 0-1 on the season. The Rockets travel to Elmwood/Brimfield (Elmwood, IL) to confront the Trojans in a Prairieland test on Friday, September 2. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 1-0. Elmwood/Brimfield won 48-14 in their recent league test against Illini West (Carthage, IL)
