The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID) and the host Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID), observed Marsing's football squad thwart Orofino by a tally of 35-12.

The Huskies now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Wendell for a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. Marsing will play a Trojans squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over West Jefferson (Terreton, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
