Ohio High School Football - Monroe nips Ross

In Friday's non-league match, the host Monroe Hornets football squad scored a close 13-9 victory over the Ross Rams.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Western Brown Broncos (Mt. Orab, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Monroe will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Broncos enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Washington (Washington Courthouse, OH).

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Valley View (Germantown, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Valley View was nudged by Milton-Union (West Milton, OH), 24-14, in a non-league match.
