The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 22 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Lehigh for a Colonial-Schuylkill battle on Thursday, September 1. Northwestern Lehigh will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 32-12 league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
