Pennsylvania High School Football - Southern Lehigh drops to Quakertown

In Friday's non-league game, the Quakertown Panthers (Quakertown, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), by a final score of 42-28.

The Panthers now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host North Penn for a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. Quakertown will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 37-28 non-league loss to La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill contest, on Friday, September 2. Southern Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 41-34 league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA).
