South Carolina High School Football - Saluda topples Ridge Spring-Monetta

The Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) football defeated the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 34-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Saluda will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 53-0 non-league win over Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC).

The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Batesburg-Leesville lost by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 49-14, in a non-league bout.
