South Carolina High School Football - Ridge View can't get by Sumter

Sumter Fighting Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), 15-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Sumter improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Gamecocks host Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to confront the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Gators come into the test with a record of 0-1. Goose Creek lost 53-9 in their recent non-league test against South Florence (Florence, SC)

With the loss, Ridge View drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC) to confront the Diamond Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Diamond Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-1. Lower Richland won 35-8 in their recent non-league test against Westwood (Blythewood, SC)
