Ohio High School Football - River knocks off Trimble

The River Pilots football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Trimble Tomcats to 18 in the Pilots non-league win on Friday.

The Pilots now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe Central for a Pioneer Valley battle on Friday, September 2. River will play a Seminoles squad coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Tomcats play the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Trimble will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 21-20 non-league loss to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
