Louisiana High School Football - Riverdale Academy smashes Union Christian Academy

August 26, 2022: Farmerville, LA 71241

The Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) football routed the host Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA), 50-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Tallulah Academy Trojans (Tallulah, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Riverdale Academy will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 52-22 non-league win over Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA).

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tensas Academy (St. Joseph, LA). The Chiefs enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record.

Congratulations to #1 Ben Almond (overall), #5 Kyle Guillory (offensive) and #2 Ashton Almond (defensive) for being selected the Riverdale Academy Football Players of the Game.
