California High School Football - San Pedro prevails South Gate

August 26, 2022: San Pedro, CA 90731

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) and the visiting South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), observed San Pedro's football squad defeat South Gate by a count of 30-7.

The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Venice for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 1. San Pedro will play a Gondoliers squad coming off a 29-24 non-league win over Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 1. South Gate will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 40-27 non-league loss to Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
