California High School Football - Sequoia knocks off Woodside

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) and the host Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA), observed Sequoia's football squad thwart Woodside by a count of 34-15.

The Ravens now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Bonita Vista for a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. Sequoia will play a Barons squad coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Morse (San Diego, CA). The Barons record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 2. Woodside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trailblazers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 41-34 non-league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, CA).
