The Wayne Falcons football team (Corydon, IA), was tipped 21-16 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sidney Cowboys (Sidney, IA)
The Cowboys (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The come into the A District 7 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Valley nipped Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 17-11, in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ogden for a A District 6 challenge on Friday, September 2. Wayne will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Perry (Perry, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
