Tennessee High School Football - Signal Mountain topples Soddy Daisy

August 26, 2022: Soddy Daisy, TN 37379

The Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) football defeated the host Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN), 23-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles face the McMinn Central Chargers (Englewood, TN) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Friday, September 2. Signal Mountain will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN).

The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN). The Pounders enter the 4A Region 3 bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Chattanooga Central lost by Franklin County (Winchester, TN), 47-14, in a non-league bout.
