In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wayne Pioneers football squad scored a big 50-14 victory over the Tolsia Rebels.
In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Friday, September 2. Wayne will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Skyhawks enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-19 league win over Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
The Rebels (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Patriots enter the Coalfield A match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Midland Trail was crushed by Clay County (Clay, WV), 44-22, in a non-league match.
