The Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) football defeated the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 22-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) in a bout, on Friday, October 28. Chavez will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Cleveland defeated Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 30-0, in a non-league bout.
