Colorado High School Softball - Lewis-Palmer bounces Canon City

The Lewis-Palmer Rangers routed the visiting Canon City Tigers softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Rangers (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Pine Creek was routed by Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 20-9, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pueblo County for a non-league battle on Friday, August 26. Canon City will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
